Lago Rosso

Lago Rosso is born from a Sangiovese vineyard of about 25 years, located at 550 meters above sea level in the municipality of Gradoli. The terroir is composed of dark, compact sands, purple pozzolan, and red lapilli.

The destemmed grapes ferment spontaneously in concrete. Maceration lasts for the entire fermentation period. After racking, the wine ages for 14 months: 60% in concrete tanks and 40% in 300-liter French oak barrels of third and fourth use
